Every woman would have a problem with their lips, whether it’s dry, chapped or dull and not shine. The important thing is how to keep the lips moist so it does not easily dry and chapped. When the lips feel dry and chapped, oftenly we are licking our lips with saliva. Though this will only worsen the lip moisture. Severe levels of drought lips will make you loose your smile and can ruin the appearance.
At the time licking the lips with saliva, we feel wet lips, but when the saliva is dry, the lips will actually drier than before. This is because the saliva will make natural moisturizing layer on the lip is more quickly eroded.

- Drink at least 2-3 liters of water a day to prevent dehydration which can cause chapped lips.
- Get a healthy diet by eating green leafy vegetables, carrots, seeds, and tomatoes. All of these vegetables contain vitamin A in it which helps to repair damaged skin.
- Dab a little coconut oil on your lips regularly to maintain humidity.
- Rub slices of cucumber on the lips to cope with chapped lips.
- Apply honey on the lips and once dry you can apply a little vaseline on it. After about 15 minutes, both honey and vaseline applied to the lips will soften the lips.
- Aloe vera is known as a healer for damaged skin. Apply aloe vera gel on the lips to heal chapped lips.
- Or you can apply cream milk before bedtime.
