The Art of Earrings ImageWomen always decorate their ears. Trying to forget they had their ears pierced when still a baby. Mostly women decorate their recepticals ear with small pieces of shiny metal and colored stones.

In the fast-paced modern cultures, ears are one of the easiest body parts to decorate and become more important. Earrings were always there. The oldest earrings are lunate earrings. Lunate earrings known in Mesopotamia create in the gold crescent earrings are approximately 4,500 years old. The first drafts were pending earrings and pendants made of precious metals, usually gold, and sometimes bone.

The popularity of earrings rose and fell over the centuries accordance to hairstyles. For example, the decoration was from our ears, in the grace of the Middle Ages.
